As an Internet-based program, Source Tax Online uses many of the same functions as any other Internet site using Microsoft Internet Explorer. The main tool bar functions (File, Edit, View, Go, Favorites, Help) perform similar tasks for Source Tax Online, as do the task bar buttons (Back, Forward, Stop, Refresh, Home, Search, Favorites, History, Channel, Function, Full Screen, Mail, Print, Exit). For example, using the Back and Forward buttons moves you between page views, and using the Stop button while a page is loading will cancel the operation.

Source Tax Online has a menu list of useful links located near the top of the page, just below the name of the current page (see the image below). Place the cursor on one of the items across the menu list, and a brief description of the page to which it will take you, or a drop list of links associated with that menu item will appear. Clicking on one of these links will take you directly to that page.
